On Sept. 26 at 5 p.m., the Douglas County Sheriff's Office assisted the Colorado Bureau of Investigations in executing a search warrant for the residence of Randal David Ankeney, 9708 Red Oakes Drive, Highlands Ranch.

Ankeney, 35, was arrested on a warrant for:

Enticement of a child, 18-3-305 class 3 felony (previous conviction)

Sexual assault on a child, 18-3-405 class 4 felony

Sexual exploitation of a child, 18-6-403 class 3 felony

Bond is set at $1,000,000.

Randal David Ankeney is a registered sex offender. This list is available on the Douglas County Sheriff's Office official Web site at www.dcsheriff.net under "Quick Links Unified Sex Offender List."

The search warrant, arrest warrant and booking records are sealed. This is an active ongoing investigation; therefore no additional information is available.
